Professor Don Byrne, Australian National University, Advisory Board Member at The Centre, will at June 1. 2012 be honored with and promoted to Doctor Honoris Causa at NTNU. The Centre Congratulates.

A group from the Research Centre contributed with work-shops, oral presentations and poster presentations at the 25th annual conference of the European Health Psychology Society on Crete in September. Some of the presentations are attached.

Unni Karin Moksnes from the Research Centre fro Health Promotion and Resources defended February 18. her Doctorate in Health Science. Her thesis had the title “Stress and health in adolescents: The role of potential protective factors“.Professor Bengt Lindstrøm was 1.opponent and Professor Lars Wickstrøm was second opponent in the defence. Professor Geir arild Espnes, NTNU, had been main supervisor, while Professor Don Byrne, Australian National University and Toril Rannestad from Sør Trøndelag University College had been second supervisors.
